Our Family. Our Responsibility.

The next generation is rising up and it is our responsibility to foster an environment of growth. If we plant our children in the house of the Lord, they will be the vessel that carries the presence of God. It is through Jesus that we will flourish, grow, and produce fruit even while we walk through the valley of death.

An Inconvenient Calling

As we set out to pursue the calling that God has for us, we will be faced with inconveniences. We are equipped to transform these inconveniences into our greatest assignments in order to find joy, purpose, and fulfillment. Pastor Daniel reminded us that when the enemy sets a table of doubt, we can instead make the choice to feast on the goodness of God.

Frustration & Fulfillment

At our core, we all want fulfillment. When we don’t feel fulfilled, we can find ourselves feeling frustrated. Pastor Daniel showed us that the only way we can really find fulfillment is when we are living out our God-given purpose. We were made to make a difference.

Power of Perception

Our perception of someone often determines our interaction or relationship with them. Ethan Shockley showed how this is such a vital truth to understand because the same is true with our relationship with God. Our perception of God will determine what we get out of our relationship with Him.

Work It Out

Have you been through some difficult situations in your life? Pastor Daniel explained that these challenges are opportunities for us to work on our faith muscle and prepare us for where God wants to take us next. When there is a deficit between where we are and where we want to be, God isn’t doing something to us — He is doing something through us. The greater the deficit, the greater the destiny God has for us.

The Walk-Ons

Life can be difficult. What keeps you going? As Christians, our faith is our currency; it substantiates what we cannot see. While it may be easier to keep account of the things we can see, Jeremy Pickwell explained that faith in Jesus Christ gives us the confidence we need to keep on being brave.

Living from the Blessing

Are you continually trying to prove yourself to others? God doesn’t want us to live in this place of striving. Shawn McGill reminded us that, as Christ followers, we are sons and daughters of the Almighty God. Your behavior doesn’t shape His love for you. He loves you. Period. End of story.

The Changeover Box

Have you ever felt stuck in between seasons? The changeover box can often feel frustrating, but it’s what we do within this transition that impacts whether we move on to the next season. With our natural eyes it can look like we’re going from an upgrade to a downgrade, but Pastor Daniel explained that with God, it’s always an upgrade. Looking through the eyes of faith, we have to learn to move on!

There's Something About Mary

Have you ever thought about the polarizing things Jesus did? He healed a man on the Sabbath. He met a lady at the well. He stole a kids lunch to feed 5,000. Likewise, when people encountered Jesus, it made them do some crazy stuff! In John 12:1-8, Mary demonstrated her love to Jesus through public, impactful, and costly worship. This act of worship was polarizing! Berchman Paul shared how we can use Mary’s example of worship to become true worshippers of Jesus in our everyday lives.
